Our summer has been gorgeous! It has been so wonderful to welcome customers after last years’ precautions. We have mostly paddled with our French guests, but some Swedish people have also found us. Of course the two of us have been kayaking on our own in between. We have altered between the salty waters of Bohuslän, Lake Vänern, River Byälven and clear rivers in county Härjedalen further north. From Bohuslän to Lake Vänern! This summer we investigated the Dalsland archipelago – the nature reserves Tösse and Yttre Bodane offer a quiet and peaceful archipelago.

We have been very lucky with our beaver safaris this summer. In July we even saw a little baby beaver swimming in front of us. So cute. Our base is Krokstad Herrgård, by River Byälven, near Säffle.

One of our highlights was when we headed north to experience the last weeks of summer changing into autumn. River Tandån presented more than we had hoped.

Now our kayak season this year with guests has come to an end. But we have not stopped paddling for sure. We hope to share more wonderful moments both from our kayaks in water and with skates on ice!
